Redemption
I was praying for a specific person as I was throwing paint around for this work. I had unintentionally painted a face, and I covered it with white to symbolize purification. Then I added more color on top of it, and then the metal leaf and gold spatters to symbolize God’s presence. The heart appeared in the metal leaf quite accidentally, but it seemed to represent the love of God for this person. The red is symbolic of the cleansing blood of Jesus.
